Past Years' Success!

Cross Out Cancer - Seattle

2020:

Unfortunately, due to COVID19, we were unable to host our annual run. It was a tough year for many but we are excited to bounce back in 2021!

2019:

Our third race was a huge success! We are so excited to have raised over $38,000 for our guild caring for pediatric cancer patients at Seattle Children's. We are so grateful to everyone who supported this year and can't wait to see what is coming in 2020!

2018:

Our second annual 5k was an amazing day for all runners and volunteers. We beat our previous goal by raising over $30,000! Huge thank you to everyone involved!

2017:

Our first race was fantastic! Magnuson gave a beautiful day and track to our runners and volunteers. We raised around $23,000 for Seattle Children's Hospital!

Cross Out Cancer is a non-profit organization that began in Tampa, Florida, in 2015. It was started by a high school junior whose mission was to combine their love of cross country with the passion of serving pediatric cancer patients by bring about awareness of childhood cancer. Fast forward to December 2016, Cross Out Cancer was established in Seattle and was on track to their first race in May of 2017! With a completely student-led board of 20 representatives from high schools across the Greater Seattle area, our board is largely made up of people with a particular interest or connection to childhood cancer.

Nothing would have been possible without our fantastic community, gracious sponsors and the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in the first year of Cross Out Cancer Seattle!
